About the Planter:

The Lechuza Quadro square self watering planter hosts a sophisticated design with high plant volume. This square floor planter's sleek silhouette is the perfect addition to contemporary interior landscapes. Resistant to UV rays and breakage, the Quadro is manufactured of a high density, high quality plastic. Use this flower pot as a stand alone planter or use in a group with alternative sizes to create eye catching displays.

How the Lechuza Self-Watering System works

Add the optional sub-irrigation system to this modern indoor planter to simplify watering. use the separator piece to create a reservoir in the base of the pot. Place the included Lechuza PON over the separator to form a water regulating layer. Add high quality potting soil to the container to form another layer. Insert your plantling and continue to fill the pot with soil.

Upon completion, you will top water the plant or flower as you normally would for the first twelve weeks. Be sure to fill the water reservoir using the supply shaft that can be found on the inner wall of the container. Use the supply shaft to add liquid fertilizer as needed. Once the plant's roots have grown deep enough, they will begin to soak up water from the reservoir below. You will notice the water level indicator dropping when this begins to happen. At this point, your plant will require additional watering for up to twelve weeks.
